Routine care of the item.

Keep your appliance free and clear from combustible materials.
Visually inspect burner for obstructions, keep an enclosure free and clear from debris.
After the burner and lava rocks are completely cooled down, use a soft brush to get rid of the mild stains of dirt and soil. Wipe with a soft cloth.

The door doesn’t close completely due to being too large.PLease see picture 1.

After loosening the screws on the front left and right sides in Figure 2, pull them a little to the left and right.

Tighten the screws again and close the door.

The battery-powered igniter doesn't work. I've tried a few different AAA batteries but holding down the igniter button does not light the fire. a handheld lighter does ignite the propane, so I know it's not a gas flow issue.

Please check if the battery is installed in right way.
Is the internal spring of the ignition button switch stuck or deformed?
When you press the igniter, is there any clicking sound or sparks?
Please also check whether the ignition needle is stuck with volcanic stone powder, you can wipe the ignition pin with a cloth and try it again.
Also the ignition needle need to be aligned with the gas outlet.
