Can I have this on my porch? is under a roof?
Ignitor does not work. Had to use a hand lighter to light it. When burning, the flame will not stay on when I stop pushing on the flame control knob. I have held the the knob in for over 3 minutes.

Just wondering if this unit can be used on a wood based patio?
The start button must be held for the flame to remain open. As soon as you stop holding the push button, the flame goes out even when the stones have been heated.
From day one i have had and issue with the ignition knob we press it as fire it up hold it for the 15 seconds or more then turn it and it clicks but the fire goes off it doesn't stay on it a hit and miss with it we spend too much time on lighting this pit and getting it to stay on. So i don't know if it is a faulty knob Can you send another to replace the one i have or i will have to return this pit for another¨

Please can you send the customer a new product as the item was received damaged.
Following the lighting instructions provided does light the flame, but in order for the table to stay lit, the control know has to be pushed in manually.tried tightening the nut as instructed. Unfortunately, it did not solve the problem of the table staying lit.
The only way I can get the firepit to stay lit is to up it all the way up to high. And even then sometimes it is going out and the only way to get it to stay on is to hold in the knob that should control the flame height

My problem is the valve mechanism. It will not stay engaged for the high flame. The only way it will work is if I keep holding it pushed in and then if i let go, it comes back outward and the fire will go out. There must be an issue with the thermocouple, the device not sensing the flame.
