The igniter doesn't work

Send OP70369-part 1 electronic igniter

The flame on my firepit table won't stay lit after releasing the button.

This may be caused by a loose thermocouple. Please check and tighten the thermocouple nut. You can refer to the instructional video for guidance: https://youtu.be/cFb3fdptL6E.

The instructions state to have the propane tank 5 ft away from the table when in operation. The hose provided is only 2 ft in length, so we are not sure how to keep the tank 5 feet away.

This manual contains two types of product descriptions like attached picture.

The above one is for the height of 13-15" coffee table style stove table, this kind of product can not accommodate a 20lbs propane tank under the desktop, so the design will be equipped with a 6ft long gas pipe, requiring customers to put the gas tank 5ft away from the stove table.

The next one is a 25 "height stove table like the item OP70370 you purchased , which can accommodate a 20lbs propane tank at the bottom, so the design is so that the propane tank can be safely placed, and there is also a propane tank fixation bracket under the table.

These are two different styles. Look at the requirements for the purchased style. Generally 13-16 "height stove table is the external model, see the top propane tank placement requirements, generally 25" high stove table is the built-in model, see the bottom propane tank placement requirements.

The fire pit is not working. The ignition mechanism is not working.

1st the ignitor is not lighting the fire tube and secondly the knob is not staying engaged to keep the flame going.

Is there a rattling ignition sound when pressing the ignition button? Did you install the battery and is it installed correctly? Could you please send us some pictures to show it? And please check if there is too much volcanic rock to block the pores. Please send us a video for reference.

Does the propane tank need to be outside of the storage area when firepit is in use?

You don't need to do that.
You just put the propane tank under the table in a specific position (see picture attached).
If it is not used for a long time, it is recommended to put it away in summer.

Can I leave the water proof cover off in the rain? Will the rain go in through the slots on the top?

Stainless steel burners are not recommended to be wetted by rain. Wet volcanic rocks are not conducive to combustion and can easily damage the igniter. On rainy days, a rain cover should be put on

What type of battery do you need?

AAA battery.

is there a recommended size of a wind block?

you can purchase one o发:22*6*5.5 inches

Hello, my fireplace sectional is not working. The starter is not working and when you turn the button it doesn’t stay. I will like a replacement please for that.

Preliminary judgment is that the thermocouple is loose, need to tighten the thermocouple nut.
If the fire does not stay lit, please check the connection between the relief value and the thermocouple, tighten the thermocouple with the M8 wrench.
Attach is the opearte method.
Below is the opearte video link:
https://youtu.be/cFb3fdptL6E

It will only work on high and only if you hold the button in. Most of the time it won’t even light the gas.

Can you try to tighten the thermocouple firstly?
If the thermocouple was not broke, pls use a wrench to tighten the parts inside the red circle (pic 1).
After tighten, turn the cylinder valve on the gas tank counter-clockwise to open the gas supply.
Close the door and light the fire bowl to check whether they can work or not.
If not, can you inspect the position where the thermocouple locks the connecting aluminum valve of the boiler (pic 2&3) to see if it is damaged. If it is damaged, the fire will be extinguished after you loose the hand, that means the thermocouple and the aluminum valve of the boiler need to be replaced.
Can you inspcect the above position and reply us?

Unfortunately the supply line for the fire table leaks at the regulator

please send gas pipe of OP70520-PART P out

I’m having trouble keeping my fire pit to stay lit continuously. I’ve noticed that gas only flows only if I push the control valve in but after I release the control valve the gas stop. after the instructions of tightening up the clamp nut and trying to relight the burner it still does does not stay lit.

Check whether the thermocouple and aluminum valve in the picture are damaged, if has, replace the thermocouple and aluminum valve

Can I buy a wind guard for the fire pit table and is it okay to use the table on a composite deck?

You can put a wind guard for the fire pit table.
It’s okay to use the table on a composite deck if you use it safely.

I bought two of these. Neither will start. Or can start it and than it dies out.

There have 2 possiblity:
1. Too much volcanic rock has been put into it, resulting in blocked air outlet, no oxygen flow and no ignition. Please see Figure 1
2. Check whether the battery of the lower igniter is installed. Unscrew the cover of this part to see if the battery is installed reversely. See Figure 2.If there is no power, try replacing the battery

I went to turn on the fire pit but igniter does not work I tried changing batteries it still does not work I checked the batteries and the igniter doesn’t make any noise when you try to light it

Change the igniter firstly, part 1

Is there anyway I can use this to natural gas What do mean by conversion joint As my understanding by your email , if I use conversion joint then I can use this to natural gas Is this correct If above is correct then can U send me the link which conversion joint I need to buy

Sorry we don't sell the conversion joint, what's more,it requires professional operation, so we do not recommended replace it.

The igniter doesn’t click to start the fire at all we have to use a lighter. The knob that adjusts the fire flame clicks off after 40 seconds snd the game goes out each time. I tried attaching a video several times and it won’t let me. I need a replacement of the fit pit knob and click button for ignition.

If the fire does not stay lit, please check the connection between the relief valve and the thermocouple , clamp the nut here with the M8 wrench

we purchased and the firepit is not lighting.

1. Ask the guests to check whether the battery is installed, installed upside down, or the battery is dead? This ignition button is turned on to discharge the battery.
2. There is something wrong with the ignition pin. For details, please look at the troubleshooting above.

OP70370 change the thermocouple

https://youtu.be/grmw0VTVm68

Our deck is composite. Do you have a recommendation of a way to use the fire pit on it? Could it be fastened to a wood base?

Sorry the fire pit can not be fastened to a wood base.

It ignites but doesn't stay lit because the knob will not stay pushed in. We have to hold the button down and wedge it in to stay lit.

The thermocouple and aluminum valve need to be replaced.

What size propane tank do I need and is there a specific brand I need to use?

You need to use a standard 20-LB propane gas cylinder.

Does the fire pit come with security glass ?

No,

the battery it got very hot

The battery becomes hot, it should be because the customer installed the positive and negative poles of the battery in reverse

the ignite button does not work. It can be lit with a lighter.

check it's the knob or the igniter that is defective.
press the battery or igniter to see if there is any spark or sound.

no matter what we do we can not get the table to light by pressing the ignitor button. We are able to light with a firestick but not with the igniter.

It seems that the valve is defective.
We cannot find the part at warehouse,
But we have already ordered it from the factory,
It will take 20-25 days for you to get it

put it together and it will not stay lit, if you keep button pushed in flame is great (but definitely whistles as if pinched?? as soon as you release knob flame dwindles out …seems like not enough gas unless you are pushing knob in…

Could you check if we need to tighten the Thermocouple, here is a video for your reference https://youtu.be/cFb3fdptL6E

does this come with the rocks?

Yes, it comes with the rocks

The ignite button doesn't work and the button that controls the gas does not stay down to continue to release gas.

Adjust the thermocouple and tighten the screws.

We can’t get the igniter to work and the flame won’t stay on. It will come on for a little bit and then it will just go out. It’s like somethings wrong with the controller .

1. Put less volcanic rocks around the stainless steel burner, and don't cover the air outlet, otherwise it will not be easy to ignite
2. Ignition steps: First press the knob to rotate more than 90 degrees, without letting go, press the igniter to ignite at the same time, and wait for the flame to light and keep it for 10-20 seconds.
3. If the flame cannot continue to burn, it may be that the screws on the thermocouple side are not tightened, please try to tighten the thermocouple
Please refer to the video -https://youtu.be/cFb3fdptL6E and pictures attached

Is this propane? Gas-powered? What kind of fuel?

propane

The gas comes up and we can manually light the fire but it will not light properly with the push button.

If it does not catch fire, please check whether the battery is installed or the battery is installed upside down. Could you please try to install it with another battery?Check if the spring on the battery cover is broken, and then press the battery directly. Will there be any ignition drips? There is a sound, it may be that the lid is broken.

The igniter sparks but will not flame. It makes a high whistling noise.

It might be a problem with the gas pipe, could you please check if the gas pipe is connected properly and send us some pictures as reference?
And could you please help us confirm where the sound is coming from?

What certification does this product have?

For the burner, it is CSA approved. As for the whole machine, it is ETL approved.

The fire can't keep burning

The thermocouple is loose, causing the fire to not continue to burn. Please try to tighten this piece (as shown in the picture in the attachment). Here is a video to show Tighten the Thermocouple : https://youtu.be/cFb3fdptL6E

after using half dozen times it’s already NOT working properly!! The start button doesn’t work properly and couple times it has just gone out

1. The guest put too many volcanic stones, and blocked the fire hole, let the guest expose the stainless steel
2. Let the guest adjust the thermocouple, the screw may be loose, the attached picture is for reference
Video of adjusting thermocouple:https://youtu.be/cFb3fdptL6E

I have a question regarding moving tank out of unit in order to use it. How long is the hose one foot or five feet.

It will be impossible to move tank out of unit to use it, unless you ask a professional guy to replace the pipe for you.
The required hose length is 19".

The instructions state that the propane tank must be five feet away from the table during operation

This one doesn't need that distance

Can this be converted to natural gas?

It needs to change the adapters and pipes, and natural gas cannot be installed directly. This is the replacement instruction.

Can you tell me if 1)glass filler can be used with this product 2) and is it safe for wooden decks?

2、 1. It can be used as a complete set 2. It can be used on the wooden floor
