Does this unit humidity when on fan only mode?

Running the unit in fan-only mode does not increase humidity, as the water pump does not activate; this only happens in "Cool" mode.

When I turnthe setting to cool, why the unit just "beeps" at me?

When the unit is switched to "Cooling" mode, it emits a "beep" sound; this indicates a low-water warning, so please check if the water tank has sufficient water.

Does this device remember the settings and restart in same mode if power goes off and then on??

No.

the water tank is not leaking on its own. Also the cooler only leaks when put on cool mode. Even if there is water inside tank it does not leak on fan mode.

Please follow these steps to check:
1. Check the filters, as they may be clogged. Please clean them― the white filter screen can be washed, and the green wet paper pad can be rinsed.
2. Verify that the green wet paper pad isn’t installed upside down. If so, remove it and reinstall correctly.
3. Check that the water tank isn’t overfilled.

what is the expectation of sleep and natural modes? For me they seem to be behaving the same way in that they pause and keep restarting the fan, which I find odd.

Natural Mode: The product simulates natural wind, meaning the airflow will alternate between blowing and pausing intermittently.
Sleep Mode: The fan speed decreases gradually from high to low to prevent chills, and the noise level is also slightly reduced.

Will not run while in sleep mode. I just need to know what to do to get it out of sleep mode. Any assistance with thiis issue would be deeply apprecipated.

It's flickering because there's not enough water. You can check the water level line in the lower tank.

Can I ask how frequent I need to clean the filter if I use it daily & how? Anything I need to clean for the heater as well as the ION function & where I can find the part to clean?

1. You can take out the water tank for cleaning. 2. The filter screen is detachable, the white filter screen can be washed, and the green wet paper curtain can be washed once. Do not wash it too frequently. 3. If you feel an odor, you can add some lemon slices
