You Get What you pay for

Overall this is a decent product. The only bad is that the screws fall out often. I finally started to put glue on them when I put them back in. Seems to be working, until the next one comes loose. The other thing is the fabric is rather thin and lets more sunlight in than I would want.

This is pretty, but it is made to screw on to a concrete or wooden floor. Mine keeps falling over.

Umbrella fell apart one year from purchase.

I ordered and assembled this a year ago and used it a few times. On its first birthday, the umbrella (which was closed) fell from the plastic rod it was suspended by, severing the lighting cord in the process. There was no storm or strong winds. The plastic rod goes into a plastic sheath and it looks like there was a pin that went through corresponding 1/8th inch holes in the rod and sheath. You can see I have outlined this hole in white in the picture. We tried to put several appropriately shaped cotter pins and tiny brass rods through, to repair. We could not get anything all the way through to accomplish this repair, I'm really sad ?? because I am having my first social gathering in a year outside, and we need shade. Also, I don't want to put this big object in the landfill after only a year of a small amount of use.

Make sure base has plenty of counter weight.

I put?it?together?myself?and?finished?it?in? about?15?minutes.?We?use?extra?heavy?weight,?which?means?double?the?blocks,?and?we?haven't?had?any?issues?with?it?falling?over?or?anything?like?that?in?high?winds.?When?it's?windy,?it?swings?around?a?lot,?so?we?attached?hooks?to?keep?it?against?the?house?because?we?were?losing?shade?while?it?was?swinging?around.

Very happy with purchase

We love this umbrella as an addition to our back deck. Our girls are begging to have a picnic under it in the evenings with it lit.

Main pole is plastic and bows badly. Top is very heavy and is not easy to slide up on the pole. Anything more then 5mph winds will get the umbrella spinning or moving like crazy. Lights worked for 2 days and died. Base weights are a necessity for this set up.

I buy this as a parasols in my garden. It is large enough as the picture show. Android it is easy to assemble. I think if you need to buy another umbrella holder it is prefect!

Great bang for the buck!

This is a great umbrella for the price! I have seen all the comments and these people need to realize they are paying $119. The comments are as if they purchased a $1,200 umbrella. The umbrella I purchased is great! It came complete and has been working great!
