Takes a bit of time to assemble, but it is a sturdy set
We recently had some heavy rain and wind that broke a few of our backyard chairs. Since a few were broken and cannot be fixed, we decided to purchase another set to use outside as we like to have dinner outdoors whenever the weather permits. After searching for a set that is not too expensive, we settled on this one due to the size of it and fitting under our patio cover. When the boxes arrived, there was a bit of confusion. The delivery person informed us that there are two boxes delivered today, but there are still two more that will come at a different time. After waiting for a few days, we reached out to the seller who informed us that there should only be two boxes. When the rain subsided, we opened the box and put the set together. Lo and behold, the two boxes contained everything. Not sure why the UPS driver told us we still had two more coming. But we were glad that the seller quickly addressed our concern about the boxes that we thought were missing. This set looks simple, but it does take a little bit of time to install it all together if done by one person. It took my husband a little over two hours, with beer breaks in between, to complete the set up. Once everything is completed, the set looks great under our patio cover. The chairs and the table are all very sturdy. We've used it multiple times already and moving around constantly, but did not have any creaking issues. The only thing is that we were hoping the cushions were a little thicker. I think over time, we may replace the cushions with thicker ones for comfort since we like to sit around after dinner to chit chat. Overall, this set is good for anyone without a huge yard. It is a simple set to use on a daily basis, nothing fancy. However, note that since it is used outdoor, it is best to seal the wood to prevent the color from fading. I seal all my wooden outdoor items and reseal them each year to keep the color looking vibrant and to prevent weather damage.
