looks good for the city folks

Very good size for city housing to keep a couple chicks. It has a small run so it's not all that bad. Everything seems to work alright and for the price, this is legit. I suggest to use wood shavings to keep things nice and clean. It will be a lot easier to clean with the shavings. We tend to use the big door more often because of changing the water and feeding. The top is for collecting eggs mostly. The sliding tin at the bottom is for cleaning but with shavings, we don't really do much. Like i said, for the price this will be great for 2 or max of 4. I like the color, it looks great!

Coop for many types of pets

This chicken coop has many possibilities. It could be used for chickens, rabbits, Guinea pigs, birds, rats, etc...? I'm impressed with the quality of the material, the wood is strong and so is the wire. It arrived quickly, in one heavy box. It came with instructions that were easy to understand. Putting the coop together was not too hard, I needed tools and a steady hand, it took about 1.5 hours to complete.? My chickens love the space that it has available, the open space, the closed space and the nesting boxes. They are very happy. They go in the coop every night on their own, and come out every morning on their own. They free range all day and this coop provides comfort at night. There's times when they need to stay in their coop for an extended time in the mornings (gardener, inspection, yard work, etc) and they have been content staying inside the coop. The only thing I wish is that this coop was bigger so my chickens could grow into it, i have 10 chickens, so I will eventually need to find a larger coop for them.... If I could give it 0 stars I would. The wood was super soft! Fell apart after the first storm and now all my chickens are dead. Never buying this again.

easy to assemble

Perfect size, exactly what I was looking for.

Wouldn't purchase again.

We are first time chicken owners and started with only 3 birds as we weren't sure we would be chicken people. Husband ok'ed chickens if i built a coop. Haha, I bought a prefab one. Turns out we love them and want more. So we plan to build our own with more sturdy materials. It was easy to assemble. I would not feel comfortable with my chicks being in this with bad weather. After some strong winds the top portion that is hinged has blown up. It is not predator safe, definitely need something to stop critters from burrowing under the fenced portion. You cannot shut them into the the actual coop portion. The wood is soft and the plastic is thin. It will not be enough for our cold Midwestern winters on its own. I would not purchase again.

Not what we had hoped

We were disappointed in this purchase. At this price point, we expected a more sturdy coop built with heavier quality materials. Many of the pieces didn't fit well together and my husband drilled new holes so things would match up. The title said good for 3-4 chickens and there is no way it will work for that. Maybe 2. I wasn't careful about checking measurements so I take the blame for that but listing it to fit 3-4 chickens is very misleading. All in all, this could be used for a month or so with chicks and it would need serious reinforcements to be outside in the elements.

Not very sturdy, VERY lightweight but cute and easy to assemble

These coops are easy to assemble but not practical if you live in the country with predators and/or real cold weather. I bought 2 and am modifying one yard to enlarge the coop and will connect the 2 coops together (basically rebuilding it to fit my needs). It will definitely need to be insulated for the winter. I also used hardware wire along the bottom and buried it so nothing can dig under the coop and get to the chickens (which is real easy to do if left as it came). It's cute but not practical and I would not recommend for any more than 3 chickens at the most unless you have real small chickens. It's working fine for my babies until I can get everything modified but I wish I had found something else.

I knew buying a cheap coop would come with some drawbacks, but I could literally build a sturdier version of this myself with the same budget.

Quality product

I always want have my own chicken to have organic eggs, after I got this , finally I have that , the chicken love it, perfect size for my three of them, sleep eat play so happy to watch them stay in this cage!

Small and cheap

The size is accurate to the description but once you see it in person it's just smaller than anticipated. It serves our purpose as a quarantine coop for two chickens at a time before introducing them to our flock but that's the only good I can say. It is just good enough. We added hardware cloth because what is there is tacked in with staples. The gray parts are plastic. The wood is soft and light. The paint is one thin weak coat. The whole thing is light enough to blow away in a storm (we added a hardware cloth skirt to keep predators from digging under and pinned it down and placed large rocks on it to help hold it in place). If you're looking for a permanent secure home for chickens for $200.00+ you should be able to build something better even with lumber prices where they are. LGB!

Well made & easy to assemble

I was impressed that every section was numbered & pre drilled. It all fit together perfectly! My chicken is now living in style.

Good product

I've been using this coop for 2 months and my birds were happy with it. I would recommend no more than 4-5 chicks. I have 4, they have enough space for sleeping, eating, and chasing each other. By the way, as you can see there is a "base" below the coop, that is not included. Good quality and sturdy, I am happy with the purchase so far.

Easy to assemble. Looks great

This was easy to assemble. My husband put it together fairly quickly without a lot of effort. Could work for both rabbits or a couple of chickens. We got it to house a rabbit and it is plenty big enough for that. We have it all set up and just need to add the rabbit. I like how it has so many doors to access different parts of the cage. Tempted to get another cage for the rabbit and use this one for a couple chickens.
