Love it!

I assembled this on my own and I love it! Great size, love the shelves and the height of it. I haven't used the heat yet but I bought it more for the ambiance than actual heat output.

This took me all day to put together, but directions are clear. Just follow the steps and take your time. The color was a bit dark for me, so I ordered these peel and stick tiles and just love the way it looks!

Love how grand and beautiful it is ! Takes a very long time to assemble took us 7 hours but totally worth it. Must have patience & skill for this one.

Looks great with the Christmas exactly what I wanted!!! Seemed easy to watch someone else out it together. No swearing so that was a good sign! I love it but material does scratch easy

Defective/Terrible Customer Support

I've only had ny fireplace for one year, used it only last winter. Turned it on last week and the heater insert LED lighting flashes on and off now only works on one lighting mode instead of three.

Assembly

What a nightmare. Took 8 hours to put together. The Chinese directions were awful, some screws were too long and pierced the front of the unit. Very unsightly.

Impressive

This fireplace mantel is impressive. First, the packaging was very padded, protecting it during shipping. My second concern was the quality. It is manufactured wood, which can typically look cheap and, well, manufactured. This piece does not have that look. It is extremely solid, and seems to have a better quality of finish on it. And the instructions were totally detailed and easy to understand, which is good, because there's a lot to put together. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase!

It was a little time consuming to assemble but well worth the time. A lot bigger than what I expected and heats the room well. We love it!!!

Everything is perfect

Although assembly took me 3 hours, the fit of all the parts and the directions were excellent! Best I have assembled in my life. The quality and strength is awesome. The fireplace insert which ships separately from the box of the cabinet itself took 5 min to insert, and screw in. Perfect fit. The fireplace flames have 5 intensity levels, and 3 colors for a total of 15 adjustments. We are very impressed, plus the cost is excellent for what you receive. Well done, bravo. My only issue was the 1 box with the wooden parts was extremely heavy, almost too heavy to lift and I am pretty strong. I wish they shipped that part in 2 boxes.

Before you buy!!!

The product has it's downsides. When I received the order it was well packaged. Took about 2 hours to assemble. It might take someone else longer if they aren't that savvy. After it's put together, it feels like a solid piece of furniture.

This is a very nice fireplace; however, we received it with broken /scratched pieces as you can see in the photos. We got this for our patio which still serves the purpose, but hope the company answers my request for a new bottom piece. This is my reason for 3 star.

First off, it's probably good to know that this item is shipped in two packages (and they come at different times). The mantle came about 2 days before the fireplace - not a huge deal, but would have been nice to have those expectations set. When we received the mantle my husband took everything out of the box, and the two back panels were completely broken on the corners. Thankfully he was able to position them to where we can't see the broken pieces but nonetheless it's not too thrilling to pay half a grand and receive broken anything. There were also chips and scratches along the front of the mantle (these ARE visible at first glance). I find it interesting that the sellers would send these pieces out like this because the way they are packaged - it's VERY clear the damage was done PRIOR to packaging. I really feel that for the amount of money spent on this it should have been cared for much better.

This thing took me 3 hours to put together, the usually twist lock screws, terrible directions had you putting pieces over screw hole before putting a screw in or attaching one piece that got in the way of the screwdriver to another piece.
