Tangkula Bamboo TV Tray Table for Living Room, Sofa Side Table

Not good

I usually give good ratings to products that I buy. But this product is a nightmare the wood is coming apart, not good at all. I could have returned the item, but I decided to just super glued the wood together.

Nice little table

Nice table. One of the bolts would not go completely in ( sub bolt) but it went in far enough! I also turned the bag to the inside to hide my remotes and things from my 2 year old grandson! Reall like it!

This is great for the value.

It arrived faster than expected. Very easy to assemble and clear picture instructions. I might need to buy another one to match for my husband. It does wobble slightly but nothing too bad. It could just be my uneven wood floors. Wish it had pads to put on legs so it moves around better. But overall it is a good product. The cloth pocket sleeves are a good addition to it. Good place to put my remotes that I always lose, lol, among other things.

Good quality and a stylish alternative to plastic tables

Small defect, but still an acceptable product.

It's inexpensive and solid wood, all good. One of the pre-drilled holes whose screw anchors the table piece would not accept a screw: the insert was out of true. Nothing to be done about it. I like the canvas pockets, and even though it has a defect, I think it will do well next to my reading chair.

Fits several needs

Using as an end table in LR & then pull around to watch TV on my laptop. Very sturdy, nicely finished, attractive & useful. Would buy again.

Sturdy, love the storage pockets!

I bought this tray table to replace the cheapo plastic table with metal legs. This was packaged well and protected the contents. The instructions were easy to understand. I loved the idea of the storage pockets (selling point) and the fabric is high quality and the stitching is perfect. I chose to put the pockets facing the inside so I could grab my Kindle, remotes, phone, notepad, pen, etc. The table is sturdy and is consistent as far as size goes with other tray table options. I have one CON and that is one unruly screw that just won't tighten and screw in like the other 13 screws. It doesn't affect the sturdiness so far, but I couldn't give it 5 stars because of that 1 screw. In fact, I spent more time (about an hour) messing with trying to align and secure that 1 screw than the time I spent quickly putting the rest of it together (10 minutes). I guess the 1 screw is an anomaly because the rest of it went together so fast. It's not worth returning it because I quite like it overall. I recommend this table even though it's not as pretty as others. It's exactly what I need because of the storage pockets.

This is a review of Tangkula Bamboo Sofa Side Table, in terms of and with an eye looking back toward the SONGMICS 100% Bamboo Wood TV Table which is no longer available from Amazon. The former will be referred to as "Tangkula" and the latter as "Songmics".

Functional

Was as expected. All the Chinese items have a look about them that tries to look like wood. It does function for what was expected.

Too low to slide under my bed

I wish that this could adjust up and down. It is too short to slide under my bed. I like the sturdiness of it. It seems to be solid bamboo, and has a good finish. At first I thought it was too short to be useful. It works ok for my needs. I do like the holder, and use it to hold my many remotes. I look forward to many years of use. It does help to keep my room clean.

Best thing I bought to fill a small space. Love the organizing space provided by the pockets. Bamboo is always a great choice. Table is easy to clean and sturdy.
