The part that holds the curtain bangs with the slightest wind and you can not sit under even with a light rain due to the curtains being 2 separate pieces. The actual curtain lasted one year and this is with taking it off in the fall for the winter. Definitely was not easy to assemble. We screwed it into the cement or it would have never stayed put. We have add a metal top to the pergola and going to add some curtains for the side.

It was 1000% worth it! Great price compared to anywhere else. Need at least two people to put together, preferably more though. Took almost half the day to put together. Pretty good instructions though!

Simple installation and beautiful appearance

I like it very much, the angle of the sunshade can be adjusted, two people install it for about 1 hour, and it can be fixed on the ground

Just as expected

Had to replace my deck umbrella and thought of this pergola! Very easy to assemble. Instructions were very explanatory. Material feels great and heavy! Now my deck will be free of sun and leafs from the trees! Very happy with this purchase I definitely recommend it!

Looks great once buit

The instructions are useless, there's literally no words ,such a mess. But once it's up it's very nice, we have extremely high winds here and we just slip the fabric over and slide it down to one side so it doesn't rip or blow away, also remember to bolt it to the cement once it's bolted you are in the clear. Have your bolts ready before you start to build becuase it has to be screwed into the ground just a little over half way through before you can finish it.

Great looking pergola!

It took many hours to assemble! You definitely need at least 2 if not 3 people. We adjusted some of the directions since the poles kept falling during assembly.

Be sure to secure!

This is a nice albeit lightweight pergola. Unfortunately, I didn't secure it to the deck before a high wind and it doesn't tumble well. I recommend securing it to the ground well at install and removing the tarp when high winds are expected.

Great Purchase - Worth it!!!

Love this, we live in a townhome and can't fence our property. This makes our back patio so much better - gives privacy and looks great.

Poor Instructions but Great Product

Not hard to assemble; however, the instructions are not that great because they lack words. Some steps are not in logical. It requires two people and two ladders are best to assemble. No major or additional tools required.

Don't waste your money!

The structure of this gazebo is great! It's sturdy and is nice in appearance. You will definetly need three or four people to put it together. It is a bit time consuming. The sun shade is where the problems come into play. It is made so that you can only have it up or down on one side. There is no in between. Also, because it is two shades side by side there is a seam that leaves a gap and there is no protection under the gazebo when it rains. You're getting wet! when it's windy the shade gets all twisted and I would not be surprised if it was taken away one day like the Wizard of Oz. Next time I will buy a gazebo with a raised roof for the water to run off of when it rains!
