I hate reading directions and typically try to dive in and figure things out on my own, but that was not the case with this. You will need to read directions, BUT they are easy to read and have nice pictures. It took longer than I was expecting to assemble it, but it is sturdy and it holds a good amount of things, and offers a bit of "counter" space. I am very happy with it.

Pretty easy to put together and everything came in with no damage. Great packaging. Box was damage by shipper but nothing inside was damaged.

I had to pay $90 for a professional assembler. It took six hours. The entire unit is wobbly. The doors do not close once you put weight on them. You have to lift up the doors to get them closed because they drag on the base. Even though all of the screws are tight, the entire unit wobbles from side to side. This is a horrible pantry cabinet. When it's empty, the doors drag. When you put items on the shelves, they drag even more. Don't waste your money.
